We were thrilled to be invited to be part of Kew Gardens' Festival of Spice and host a Spice demo as part of their Spicy Saturdays programme, organised by landscape Institute, Wayward.
25th July was dedicated to celebrating Africa and we decided to showcase a marinade on the day that not only reflects the wide reach of food from Africa to the rest of the world but the influence of other nations on Africa.
So we demonstrated how to create a fresh Piri Piri marinade from scratch!
And what a blast we had! The weather was good, our lovely guests were brilliant and we all had a great time!
One of our guests said: "we enjoyed your presentation and we made the peri peri when we got home...so tasty!"
